The Wildlife Guide Supervisor is responsible for assisting Camp Manager and Assistant Camp Manager with planning and executing every aspect of the hunt experience including and not limited to hospitality services, upland bird and deer hunting, shooting sports, while driving brand awareness through a memorable and high quality standard customer experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist Camp Manager and Assistant Camp Manager to:
- Organize and oversee daily operations of Los Borrego’s facilities.
- Able to develop and maintain high quality relationships with guests and employees
- Guide hunts and shooting activities as needed
- Explain the rules/regulations of IBC and King Ranch
- Explain which animals we will have available to hunt/harvest
- Work with CEO's/Officers to decide what activities each guest wants to engage in
- Decide which guides will escort which guest for his/her appropriate activity
- Arrange for necessary quail trucks, fishing guides and boats, contract guides for activities not available at Borrego’s Camp
- Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards among all staff
- Conduct annual or as needed safety trainings and evaluations of all full-time and part-time personnel under your supervision
- Must be friendly, professional, and knowledgeable with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Assist in other areas as needed (mowing, edging, weed eating, lawn services)
- Keep roads to feeders and main roads open and travelable
- Perform chemical spraying
- Organize a training (CPR, Trauma, scoring classes)
EXPECTATIONS

- Ability to effectively interface with colleagues, company staff and customers
- Flexible schedule to work weekends and evening, especially during the hunting season

SKILLS
- Possess a clear understanding of hunt camp operations and management
- Must possess leadership, organization, and time management skills to lead a working team in various capacities
- Active listener able to mediate personnel issues with maximum results in job satisfaction
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Conduct scoring classes Boone & Crockett
- Lift up to 50 lbs., feed bags, equipment
- Tractor knowledge and use
- Rifle safety knowledge
- Be able to age dee on the hoof
- Be a team player
- Good communication (verbal, written)
EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s in Game Management or equivalent of 5 years’ experience as a hunt guide
- Knowledge of Excel, Word a plus
- A professional portfolio with references and trackable experience will be expected at time of interview
